Procedures and rules for keeping pets in pet-allowed buildings

The rules for keeping pets in "pet-allowed buildings" are as follows:

■How to register your pets
Please complete the registration process via the ruum app by going to "My room” > Various Procedures (お部屋の各種手続き)> Pet Ownership Application (ペット飼育申請)
*The “Pet Ownership Application” button will not appear for buildings where pets are not allowed or for accounts other than the main account

■Pets that are allowed
①Dogs and cats small enough to be carried by one owner at a grown-up stage.
12kg or less dogs and cats (no more than 2 in total)

②Small birds, fishes, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, ferrets, squirrels.

※We reserve the right to reject any animal that we deem unsuitable for building maintenance. For details, please refer to the special agreement for keeping pets, which is provided at the time of contract.

■Pets that are NOT allowed
①Animals prohibited from being captured, imported, and bred etc. by "Law Concerning Conservation of Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora", "Washington Convention", and "Act on Protection of Birds and Wild Animals and Hunting".

②Animals that may harm or frighten people or other pets.
(Doberman, Akita-dogs, Tosa-dogs, monkeys, alligator-snapping-turtles, scorpions, centipedes, snakes, lizards)

③Poisonous reptiles, arthropods, and insects.

④Birds, carrier pigeons, and other birds that are expected to make noisy cooing noises.

⑤Other animals deemed dangerous or unsuitable for building maintenance.

■Pets’ (dogs, cats) vaccination
Pets must be vaccinated, be registered as required by law, be checked up by veterinarians annually, and be kept in good health.

・Vaccination for Dogs
Please make sure to have a rabies vaccination and a mixed vaccination of 5 kinds or more, once a year.

Distemper virus, parainfluenza virus, canine infectious laryngitis, parvovirus, canine infectious hepatitis

・Vaccination for Cats
Daito Kentaku recommends the following vaccines to prevent cat diseases. Please ask your veterinarian about vaccines. 
<Vaccines for:>
 Feline viral rhinotracheitis, feline calicivirus infection, feline panleukopenia, feline leukemia virus infection, chlamydia infection
